The Sikkim State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), on August 14, 2025, notified regarding the online registration open for hackathon on "eco-alternatives to single-use plastics.
The following amendments have been stated:
• Objectives:
• To provide a platform for showcasing innovative efforts being undertaken across the country to develop eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastic (SUP) items.
• To identify and select the most effective and scalable solutions that can serve as viable alternatives to SUP items.
• Key Information:
• Registrations commenced on: 1 July 2025
• Eligibility: start-ups registered under various Government Schemes, Science Research and Educational Institutions, and Industrial Entities
